Randolph was born about 1775 in Virginia..

Research Notes

In 1810, Randolph was living in Buckingham County, Va. Note - Buckingham County is in central Virginia. It was created in 1761 from Albemarle County. It currently borders Albemarle, Appomattox, Cumberland, Fluvanna, Nelson, and Prince Edward Counties.

In 1820, Randolph was living in New Canton, Buckingham, Virginia. His household consisted of 2m0-10, 1m10-16, 1m16-26, 1m26-45, 4f0-10, 1f26-45.

In 1830, Randolph was living in Buckingham, Virginia, indexed (at this time) as "Randolph Nilon". His household consisted of 1m15-20, 1m40-50, 3f5-10, 2f10-15, 1f15-20, 1f40-50.

In the 1840 Census, Randolph was living in Cumberland, Kentucky. At that time, his household consisted of 1m age 60-70, 1f 15-20, 1f20-30, and 1f60-70. There is a suffix to his name... which appears to be either "Jr." or "Sr."., but I can't tell which it is.
