Biography

William was born in 1787.
He married Anna Myers on 17 Sep 1807 in Loudoun, Virginia.
In 1840, William lived in Jay, Indiana. His household consisted of:
1m15-20, 1m30-40, 1m50-60, 1f10-15, 1f50-60.
He is listed on the same page of the census as 4 of his sons:
Joseph Nixon (20-30), John Nixon (20-30), William M. Nixon (20-30), and Jacob Nixon (20-30).
He lived "next door" to a William Hite.
William passed away in 1859.

1830 - might be the William Nixon family living in Wayne, In. in 1830?? 1830 - Based on his son John's marriage in 1832, they probably lived in Columbiana, Ohio in 1830.
Columbiana, Ohio was created in 1803 from Jefferson, Ohio. It borders:
Ohio - Mahoning, Stark, Carroll, Jefferson
WV - Hancock
Pa. - Beaver, Lawrence

Jay County, Indiana was created in 1837 from Delaware and Randolph Counties.
Jay borders:
Indiana - Adams, Wells, Blackford, Delaware, Randolph
Ohio - Darke, Mercer

Note - This is the wrong William, but he's still going to be part of this William's family.

William is listed on the same page of the census as family members:

This is going to be another family member, based on time/location in Loudoun, Va.
