Biography

Jane Nixon was born on March 11, 1813^[1], in Dufton, Westmorland, England, the child of Pattinson Nixon and Elizabeth Pearson. She married William B. Blackwell^[2] on March 23, 1840^[3], in Wythe County, Virginia. She died on October 24, 1896, in Washington County, Missouri, and is buried there. Jane is buried in the Hopewell Cemetery^[4].
