Medlands says the name of Godred's wife is not known ^[1]

This profile might possibly be for an illegitimate child of Harald Hårdråde named Ragnhild. His daughter Maria, however, is said to have died unmarried in 1066. Double first names of women, like Ragnhild Maria, of this period of time, is very unlikely.

Gudrod Crovan married Ragnhild, who was an illegitimate daughter of Harald Hard STEER and unknown mistress. This is confirmed by one of Gudrod Crovans granddaughter (daughter of Olof Bitling) was called Ragnhild, she was married to Somerled of Argyll.
