Biography
- Gwenllian was the daughter of John Norris of Pen-llîn and Langstone, Wales. She married (1) Tomkin Turberville, (2) Philip ap Morgan.[1][2]
- Tomkin was born in Tythegstone, Morgannwg, Cymru,[3] was living in 1345.[4] Gwenllian and Tomkin Turberville's children included:
- William Turberville[5]
- Mawd Turberville[6]
- Gilbert Turberville, born in Penline, Morgannwg, Cymru[7]
- Gwenllian Turberville[8]
- Philip was born in Langstone, Gwent, Cymru.[9] Gwenllian and Philip ap Morgan had at least one child:
- Jenkin ap Philip Arglwydd Langstone, born about 1377 in Langstone, Gwent, Cymru, married (1) Cecily Welsh, (2) Jonet ferch Gwilym[10][11]

- Pen-llin, Morgannwg, Cymru[2] replaced Pen-Llin, Ogmore, Glamorgan, Wales[citation needed] in datafield (Liz Shifflett, March 17, 2016).
- Estimated birth year - changed to c1345 (see comments) from c1357, which had been based on four children by her first husband, Tomkin; the birth year given for her second husband, Philip (1355); and Philip's son Jenkin born 1377 (one child a year from age 15). Daughter Margaret, born 1368, is not plausible with Gwenllian b 1357 or Philip born 1355 (a duplicate profile for Phillip has his birth in 1327 - perhaps Margaret is his daughter from an earlier marriage).
- This profile for Gwenllian (Norris-252) has/had birth as 1357 in Pen-Llin, Ogmore, Glamorgan, Wales, daughter of John Norris b 1327, wife of Philip b 1355, and mother of kids born 1368(!) and 1377. (N N UNKNOWN was attached to Norris-252 as mother.)
- Merged profile for Gwenllian, Norris-2320, had birth as about 1320, daughter of John b 1295, wife of Philip b 1320 (no mother or children listed).

Ignoring the 1355 birth year for Philip, probably 1340 or 1345 would be a better birth year for Gwenllian than 1357.
"In 1429, Gwenllian Norris had the fees of Newton-Nottage and of Penlline. Possibly, on the dying out of the male line, Lucy Norris became an heiress." [Lucy/Gwenliian Norris is said to have been Tomkin's wife/mother of his four children.]
