Pen-llin, Morgannwg, Cymru[2] replaced Pen-Llin, Ogmore, Glamorgan, Wales[citation needed] in datafield (Liz Shifflett, March 17, 2016).
Estimated birth year - changed to c1345 (see comments) from c1357, which had been based on four children by her first husband, Tomkin; the birth year given for her second husband, Philip (1355); and Philip's son Jenkin born 1377 (one child a year from age 15). Daughter Margaret, born 1368, is not plausible with Gwenllian b 1357 or Philip born 1355 (a duplicate profile for Phillip has his birth in 1327 - perhaps Margaret is his daughter from an earlier marriage).
This profile for Gwenllian (Norris-252) has/had birth as 1357 in Pen-Llin, Ogmore, Glamorgan, Wales, daughter of John Norris b 1327, wife of Philip b 1355, and mother of kids born 1368(!) and 1377. (N N UNKNOWN was attached to Norris-252 as mother.)
Merged profile for Gwenllian, Norris-2320, had birth as about 1320, daughter of John b 1295, wife of Philip b 1320 (no mother or children listed).
Father John Norris-25 has source, but only date is "living" (1346, 1349), resulting in guess b c1300. Merged profile (Norris-2321, father of a duplicate profiles= of Gwenllian) had 1295, which also fits & was adopted (but no source).

from Bartrum's charts... Fleming 4 has John Norris, Gwenllian's father, living in 1349. Turberville 2 shows her husband as living in 1345. His parents were living in 1320s. Their son William was living in 1368 & their son Gilbert was living 1417-1428. Gilbert's son Jenkin was living in 1437; Jenkin's son Jenkin was living in 1462.
Ignoring the 1355 birth year for Philip, probably 1340 or 1345 would be a better birth year for Gwenllian than 1357.
from Glamorgan Pedigrees/this G2G discussion . . . neither "1429" nor "1329" works with the dates currently shown for this Gwenllian (Norris-252), 1357-1381.
"In 1429, Gwenllian Norris had the fees of Newton-Nottage and of Penlline. Possibly, on the dying out of the male line, Lucy Norris became an heiress." [Lucy/Gwenliian Norris is said to have been Tomkin's wife/mother of his four children.]
Norris-252 and Norris-2320 appear to represent the same person because: same husband and father. Please merge despite the birth dates being so off (one has 1327 & one 1357; 1350 might be closer to fitting with children's dates),.
