Birth

The birth of Woodin Norris is recorded in the vital records of Wayne, Maine, as having takien place at Wareham, Massachusetts, on 17 Sep 1762.^[1] A 1975 article in The American Genealogist says that he was born at Wareham about 1760, the son of Samuel Norris and Lydia (Washburn) Norris, and was baptized at Wareham as Woodward Norris on 24 Oct 1762.^[2]
