This profile had been attached to the wrong parents (to William of Lancaster County, Virginia and his wife Hannah Bell, which were detached).

She was born in Maryland and her father was William Norris (1728-1817) of Baltimore, Maryland.

Sources for Elizabeth include her mother's 1827 will (naming her Elizabeth Baker), her husband's DAR record (#A004929), and the 1850 census (born in Maryland c1771 [79 in 1850]):

See also the Find a Grave memorial for her father (#131189603), which quotes from Vol.1, page 173 and Vol 2, pages 436-437 of The Monongalia Story, A Bicentenial History, by Earl L. Gore.

I have rejected the merge you proposed. There are too many conflicting up line duplicates. Conflicting info on parents ,grand. parents. I am dealing with Neuro issues right now and do not have the time to research the upline duplicates.

Norris-3478 and Norris-43 appear to represent the same person because: same name, similar birth and death info, no doubt same father, same spouse. Please merge.
