William was born in December 1821 in Union County, Indiana. He is the son of George Norris and Sallie Norris. He passed away in April 1908 County, Indiana and is buried in Harveysburg Cemetery, Kingman, Fountain County, Indiana.[1]
William married Orlena McClean, daughter of George and Bersheba McClean, on 2 December 1844 in Fountain County, Indiana.
