Biography

George Northrup was born about 1803, in Bradford Co., Pennsylvania. He married Nancy M. Snyder in Athens, Pennsylvania, in 1834, and they had five children: George M., Orlando S., Charles, L., Mary M. and Sarah L. He passed away in 1873. In 1878, two of their sons were married and living in Iowa.
