Footnotes

There is a Dallas Texas death certificate for Ruther H. Norton 23 Dec 1959. He was born 3-4-1870 in Missouri. His parents were John Norton and Priscilla Johnson. This birth year seems a little late to match children of this profile. However, the 1854 birth of Ehud given originally, is probably in error. There is a Dallas, Texas death certificate for Ehud Asberry Norton born Jun 19, 1868 and died 6 Aug 1930. His parents are given as John Norton b. TN and Priscilla Johnson b. MO. John Norton is subsequently foound in the 1870 census of Harmon, Washington, Missouri. He is with Priscilla age 43 born in MO and nine children also Missouri. John was 49 born in Tenn. John worked at a Saw Mill.
