Biography
Mary was born December 7, 1823 in Horry County, South Carolina. She was the daughter of John Norton and Nancy Phillips.
On September 20, 1843 she married John E. Lowman in Barbour County, Alabama. Some records list September 21, 1843 but if you look at the photo you can see it is the 20th. [1]
She passed away August 1863 in Barbour County, Alabama. Mary is laid to rest in Providence Cemetery, Barbour County, Alabama, United States. [2]
