Albion, April 23 -- Word was received in Albion of the death at Port Washington, L.I., of Elmer K. Norton, for many years a prominent farmer of this town. He was born at Watkins, N.Y., December 4, 1848, and came to Albion from Lancaster N.Y., in 1900, buying the Hartwell farm on Clarendon road. Last January he removed to Port Washington. At one time he was a prominent business man in Buffalo.
He is survived by his wife and two sons, Philander Norton of the Western Electric Company, New York city, and Warren Smith Norton, a student at Princeton University, also one daughter, Charlotte West Norton.
Wife was Anna Norton (1861 - ) birth name unknown.
