JEROME B. NORTON, 5 Sheldon St., Roslindale, Mass., was born at Addison, Me., on April 9, 1873. He obtained his education in public schools, going to work at the machinist's trade at the age of 17. While he was earning $104 a month as an engineer, at the age of 22, on September 19, 1905, he enrolled for a Complete Steam Engineering Course. He is the president of the Norton Water Meter Co., of the above address, manufacturing his own inventions, the chief of which is Norton's Standard Water Motor.

1930 US Census shows Jerome and wife Marie living in Roslindale. He is listed as Superintendent at a steamship company. Living with them is their 28-year-old, single, son Charles.
