1860 US Census, Covington, Kenton Co., KY
NOTE
The only Lucy C. Norvell I could find appeared in, first, the 1910 US Census for Richmond , VA living as a lodger in a boarding house. She was about 65 years of age, single, and born in Virginia. She appeared next in the 1920 US Census for Richmond, VA as an inmate in the "Home for Confederate Women". Both of these establishments were on East Grace Street in Richmond City. She was now represented as being 72 years of age, single, and born in Virginia. The only other trace of her had been in the 1892 Covington Kentucky City Directory where she was listed as living at 1051 Scott Street with the occupation of "seamstress". I am sure that the entry in the Covington City Directory of 1892 is truly her; but, I am not sure of the later Census records. No records of her death were found in Covington.
