Mrs. Henry L. Peters, 64, Fond du Lac, former Waupun resident, died suddenly Sunday night of a heart attack. Mrs. Peters became ill while attending services in the Grace Reformed church, Fond du Lac, and died before reaching St. Agnes hospital. Mrs. Peters, the former Clara Nummerdor was born June 4, 1888, in the town of Alto, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Nummerdor. She was married to Mr. Peters on Sept. 29, 1908. The couple resided on farms in the vicinity of Waupun and Fond du Lac until moving to the city of Fond du Lac three years ago. Survivors include the widower; seven children, Mrs. Roy Doolan, Mrs. O. E. Demoske, Melvin Peters, Mrs. Myron Stollfus, and Herbert, all of Fond du Lac, Lester, Berlin, and Norman, New Prague, Minn.; 22 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ira, Ralph and Arthur Nummerdor, all of Waupun, and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Peters and Mrs. Fred Falbe, Waupun. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Candlish Funeral chapel in Fond du Lac. Burial was in Alto cemetery. (Source: www.oocities.org)
Clara was born in 1888. She was the daughter of Aaron Nummerdor and Clara Hilger. She passed away in 1952. [1]
