Richard was born in 1903. He was the son of Oscar Nunn and Margaret Lee. He passed away in 1998.
Obituary
Services for Richard Samuel Nunn, 95, of Lufkin, were held Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998 in the Gipson-Hunter-Metcalf Chapel with burial in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Mr. Nunn was born Aug. 7, 1903, in Trinity Co., TX to the late Oscar and Margaret (Lee) Nunn. He died Sunday, Oct. 19 in a Lufkin hospital. He was retired from Lufkin Industries, and had resided in Lufkin for more than 50 years. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Joy and Burl Wallace, Prebble and J. L. Beaird, all of Lufkin; daughter-in-law Virgnia Nunn of Shepherd; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
Mr. Nunn was preceded in death by his wife, Ollie Lee Nunn, on March 22, 1997; daughters, Catherine Nunn and Lillie Mae Nunn; and son R. L. Nunn
