Thomas "Tip" O'Neill, an American politician, was born December 9, 1912 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the son of Thomas P. O'Neill and Rose Tolan O'Neill. [1] He passed away on January 5, 1994 in Barnstable, Massachusetts. [2]
