Phillip O'Bryan sailed with his family from Dublin, Ireland to Maryland Colony abt 1774 on Ship "Russ" (per application for SAR and family but see ships Ross and Russian Merchant)
Phillip was a Revolutionary War Corporal serving in Major William Brown's Regiment, Maryland Artillery, Continental Line. For his service, he was given a 100 acre land grant in Meade County, Kentucky.
Around 1779, in St Mary's County, Maryland, Phillip married Sarah Thompson
