Biography

Father born in NY Mother born in Ireland

Served 3 years in the National Guard in Minnesota. [1].

Moved To Spokane, WA between 1905 and 1910. There he took work as a grocer to help the family financially while his father worked in carpentry and his family kept two boarders on as well. This was the state of things when the census came through.

He worked as a grocer still around 1917 at the time he filled in his draft card, and still in 1920 at the time of the next census.
