Biography

Patrick O'Connor was aboard the RMS Titanic.

Patrick was born in Tooreenavuscaun, Boherboy, Co Cork, Ireland on May 28 1888 according to his birth record, sometimes the date is cited as 30 May 1888. ^[1] He was raised in a Roman Catholic household as the youngest child.

He boarded the Titanic at Queenstown (ticket number 366713 which cost £7, 15s) and he was destined for an unknown address in New York City; his brother Cornelius had emigrated to New York around the turn of the century and was married and had a family; another brother William also lived in the USA.^[2] He traveled with his cousin Hannah (Riordan) Spollen and others from Cork County. Bridget Bradley, Hanora (O'Leary) Herlihy, Patrick Denis O'Connell, Daniel Buckley and Michael Linehan. He is believed to have shared a cabin with his fellow Cork men. Patrick ended up sinking with the Titanic and his body,if recovered, was never identified.
