Hi Jean, You are now a member of the WikiTree Community - We are building One Collaborative Tree, with just one profile per person, so it is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree.
"Sources are critically important for genealogy. Some even say that genealogy without sources is mythology. Even if you're just a casual family historian recording modern family history, you will be helping future genealogists by listing where the information you've added came from."
If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add, please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Please, be sure to include a list of the sources used, on each profile you add.
If you need any help getting started check out the Help Index or the G2G forum - Good luck growing your branches, Patt
I have done some research on my family and have about 1000 ancestors listed on Ancestry. Almost all have been on my Mother's side. I would love more info on my Father's side and continued info for my Mom's side as well. I am excited to be a part of this community. Thanks

How are you? I'm Shirley, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.
How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point, and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.
If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Do you have Royal Ancestors? Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.
And I'm here to help too, just ask!
