Lydia Oakes was born in 1830. She was the daughter of Levi Oakes and Mary Groves.[1]

In... she was married to Warren Brown.

In 1853 she was remarried to George Lafayette Smith.

She passed away in 1895.

Sisters Cynthia Boynton Oakes and Lydia Oakes married brothers Joseph Warren Page Smith and George Lafayette Smith, respectively.

Lydia's mother, Mary, is in the household in 1870.[2]
