Obituary
Mrs. Sid Robinson, 43, wife of a Lufkin railroad man, died at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday at her home, 621 Cain St., after an illness of four months.
Mrs. Robinson came to Lufkin in 1917 and had lived here ever since. She was born in Polk Co. and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include:
Husband - Sidney Robinson
Sons - James, Sid, Jr., John and Jack
Daughters - Polly Heard, Mrs. Charles Myers and Misses Mavis & Christine Robinson
Brothers - Sam Oates, Louis Oates, Nathan Oates
Sisters - Mrs. Eva Nance, Mrs. Coy Gibbs and Miss Kate Oates
7 grandchildren
Funeral services were to be held at the family residence at 3 p.m. with Rev. C. Sandifer of Tyler officiating. Interment was to be in Glendale Cemetery.
