Additionally, the birth record cited on this profile is for a John Oates son of Thomas Oates born in St Ewe, Cornwall.^[1] - over 50 miles from St Just in Penwith. Additionally, reviewing the records for St Ewe, an Oates family is well-established, with records of a John Oates living, marrying, and dying in the locality.
