When Lucy Alyce Odenbaugh was born in February 1892 in Osawatomie, Kansas, her father, Benjamin, was 38, and her mother, Mary, was 30. She married Alva L Hargrove on March 10, 1912. They had five children in 14 years. She died in November 1954 in Hunter, Arkansas, at the age of 62, and was buried there.
