Biography

This profile is part of the Ogle Name Study.

Isaac "Shucky" Ogle[1][2][3][4][5][6] (b. abt. 1788/90 - d. 02 Sep 1881).[7] built Ogle Cabin in White Oak Flats (Gatlinburg, Sevier County, Tennessee). His family is in the Sevier County Federal Census from 1830 to 1880.[8] Ogle & Engler (2012), report that, "some researchers ... denied," that William was the father of Isaac, since he was not listed in Billy's will. But Isaac stated that his father was, William, (p. I-260).
