Joseph Ogle (b.1707 New Castle, DE - d. abt. 25 Apr 1756 Frederick, MD), is the third son of Thomas Ogle and Mary Crawford.^[1][2][3] He married Sarah (b. 1709 DE - d. 18 Apr 1781 Frederick co., MD), daughter of Richard Winters.^[4]

Blackburn & Welfy (1906), asserted that Gov. Samuel Ogle was his "kinsman."^[5]
