William Oldham was born in 1744 to Joshua Oldham and baptised on the 1st June 1744 at Mottram in Longdendale in Cheshire

He married Ann Cocker on the 5th |January 1768 at Mottram-in Longdendale.

He died in 1823 at the age of 79 and was buried on the 9th March 1823 at Mottram in Longdendale.
