Biography

Esquire "Squire" Oldham was born about sometime between 1801 and 1810 in Madison County, Kentucky. He was the son of James Oldham and Didamay Merritt.

In about 1847 in Hopkins County, he married Cassandra Browning.

In the 1850 U.S. Census, Squire Oldham, age 40 (born about 1810), lived in Hopkins County, Kentucky with wife Cassandra and daughters, Ann and Lucy. [1]

He died 20 August 1891 in Hopkins County, Kentucky and was buried at Flat Creek Cemetery, Mortons Gap, Hopkins County, Kentucky. [2]
