Biography
A close relative told me Joseph was born about 1840 in Canada. Joseph Oliver married Mary Elizabeth Chastain. They had no children. Joseph left his wife and returned to Canada sometime before 1870. Mary returned to her father's houshold. She is listed in her father's (William Firth Chastain) houshold in the 1870 census.[1]
