William Alfred Oliver, 73, of Rt. 1, St. Marys, died Thursday night
at the Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Sistersville.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the Ruttencutter Funeral home
in St. Marys with the Rev. George McCune officiating. Burial was in the
Cloverdale Cemetery.
He was born in Pleasants County, son of the late Albert H. and Susan
Hackathorn Oliver. He attended the united Methodist Church.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Laura McFarland of Belmont and
Mrs. Edna Locke of Rt. 1, St. Marys; and by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
