Biography

John was born in 1829. John Oliver is most likely the son of William and Sarah Oliver that settled in Garland, Maine. He married Prudence Oliver and had several children. He passed away in 1922.

1860 - John and Prudence are living in Garland, Maine with 3 children. [2]

1870 - John and Prudence are living in Garland, Maine with 4 cihildren. [3]

1880 - John and Prudence are living in Garland, Maine with 6 children. [4]

1900 - John is living with his son, a servant, and a boarder. This census states he's divorce, but it was probably a mistake. His wife, Prudence passed away in 1888. He's a widow at this point. This census also states he immigrated to the United States in 1831. [5]

1910 -

1920 - John is living with his daughter and her husband. [6]
