Biography
Jesse was born in 1785 in Warbleton, Sussex, England. He was the son of Joseph Oliver and Mary Moor.[1]
Jesse was baptised in Warbleton on the 16 October 1785.[1]
Jesse married Sarah Carpenter on 20 January 1812 at Rye, Sussex, England.[2]
Janry 20th 1812 - Jesse Olliver, bachelor & sarah Carpenter spinster both of this parish were married by banns.
Sarah died in November 1832 and was buried at Warbleton on the 14 Nov. 1832 aged 41 years.[3]
On 24 November 1835 Jesse Oliver (widower) married Eliza Russell (spinster) at Warbleton by BTH Cole(rector) in the presence of James Russell & Mary Hollands.
In 1841 Jesse (age about 56) was living at Garlands, Warbleton, Sussex, England.[4] along with Eliza 25, and children :- Thomas 15, James 5, Harriet 4, Joseph 2, and Elizabeth Martin 12.
In 1851 Jesse (age about 66) was living in Warbleton, Sussex, England.[5] with Eliza (wife) 36, and children :- James 15, Harriet 14, Joseph 12, Emma 10, Mary 8, Eliza 6, John 2, Ann 0.
In 1861 Jesse (age about 75) was living in Stone House Road, Warbleton, Sussex, England.[6] with wife Eliza 48, and children :- Joseph 22, Mary 17, John 12, Ann 10, and Hannah 6.
In 1871 Jesse (age about 86) was living in Warbleton, Sussex, England.[7] with Eliza his wife 55 and the children :- John 22 and Hannah 17, and grandson James K 9.
Jesse died at the age of 87 in 1873 in Warbleton, Sussex, England, United Kingdom.[8] and was buried at Warbleton on the 20 February 1873.[9]
