Biography

1)Antoine was born in 1675 in France OR

2)Antoine was born in 1690 to parents Pierre Olivier (born in Boursel, Cotes-d'Armor, Bretagne France in 1688?) and Marie Madeleine Leclerq.[1]Maybe he was born in Massachusetts, according to these family trees.

1)He married Mary Sigourney born 1690 in Hartford, Connecticut. OR

2)He married Marie Anne Chasseng in 1711 in Massachusetts. This record does not give his parents. [2]

Based on the dates, these are likely children of the 1711 marriage, not a 1690 marriage. All found o Familysearch. Susanna b 1713 in Mass Anthony born 1714 in Mass Mary b 1715 in Mass Daniel b 1718 in Mass

Antoine Olivier ... He passed away in 1731 or 1734. NOTE no record found in Annapolis Royal for this.

Research Notes

No records found for him in Port Royal archives. The Sigourney family is found in Boston and not in Acadie. The Geni source could not be verified. Checked the 1714 census and found no Antoine, Anthony, Oivier, Oliver. No other Oliviers, no Oliver. Only a widow with a number of childen that could not be his spouse. If he came from Boston is he an Acadian?

There are NO Olivier records for this family in the Acadian registers of St. Jean Baptiste for Annapolis Royal, 1702-1755.

Another family tree has him married to Marie Anne Chasseng Nov 21, 1711 in Massachusetts.[3] But this one has him born in 1690 and his father as Pierre born in France.

Antoine was born in 1690. He passed away in 1731.

I find no evidence of him in Acadia in the Port Royal Registers or the 1714 census (or 1707 just in case). There might be two of them, I put the notes for both in the profile, but sitll no evidence that either came to Acadie. Where do we look for the 1717 deed mentioned in the source?
