No baptismal entry found for Hilletjie b5, but she fits into the gap between b4 en b6 and would then have been 20 years old when she married. She is mentioned in her mother's will and in that of her maternal grandmother, Tryntje Gansevanger, widow of Gijsbert Verweij. The opgaaf rol for 1695 supports the contention that she was born about 1687 as it lists 4 sons and 5 daughters for Ocker and Aletta. Catarina b3 and Hilletie made their '"attestaten "together (VC 603), so they must have been fairly close in age.[5]
Date: 15 APR 1685[4]This Baptism was for the older sister Neeltjie:
Hilletjie farmed on Welgemoed a farm in the Tygerberg District that was granted in 1732 by Willem Adriaan van der Stel ("thien morgen en 103 voeten") large to add to her existing land.[9]
Hilletjie xx 1719-02-12 Kaapse Kerk, met Johannes Mostert (b9), by wie sy nog vier kinders het. Op 1736-04-26 word aan haar “37 morgen 296 roods of land in the Cape District, next to her farm of Stellenburg at a rent of four shillings per morgen per year”toegeken [vgl: http://www.ballfamilyrecords.co.uk/mostert/I224.html].[13]
