Biography

Aristide Olivier, son of Hyacinthe Olivier and Adeline Vincent, was born circa 1845 at Louisiana, USA.^[1] He appeared on the census of 21 Dec. 1850 in the household of his parents, at St. Mary Parish, Louisiana. ^[2]

He married Elizabeth Décuir, daughter of Hilaire Décuir and Adele Orso, on 30 April 1878 their marriage was recorded at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Lydia, Iberia Parish, Louisiana.

He was a variety merchant when he and Elizabeth appeared on the census of 10 June 1880 at Isle Piquante, Iberia Parish, Louisiana.^[3]
