Biography

Maurice George Olivier was born 01 Dec 1908 in Calcutta, West Bengal, India and was the son of George William Olivier and Sybil Genevieve Cassandra Gomez. [1]

He was the husband of Maisie Beryl Christin and they married 14 Dec 1931 in Calcutta, West Bengal, India. [2]

Maurice was an auditor on the railways and at the age of 41 he immigrated to the UK [3] arriving at the port of Liverpool, England on 24 March of 1950

Maurice died 31 Aug 1966 [4] of major heart attack. He was discovered slumped in a doorway enroute from work to home. He was buried in Gorton Cemetery, Manchester, England 5 Sep 1966. [5]
