Isidore Olivier is a part of US Black heritage.

Isidore Valcour Olivier was born on 23 Dec. 1830 and baptized on 5 July 1831, his birth and baptized were recorded at St. Martin of Tours, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana. [1]

He appeared on the census of 11 Dec. 1850 in the household of his parents, Casimir Olivier and Carmezile Frilot, at St. Mary Parish, Louisiana.[2]

He married Feliciana Frilot, his first cousin and daughter of Louis Antoine Frilot and Marie Adele Olivier, on 19 June 1855 the marriage was recorded at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Charenton, St. Mary Parish, Louisiana. [1]

He and Feliciana Frilot were found on a passenger list on 31 July 1871 at New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana, USA, traveling together were Valino Olivier age 30, Felicie age 32, Albert age 11, Elmira age 10, Oscar age 8, Casimir age 5, Amanda age 2. The ship Amelia had departed from Tecolutla, Mexico and arrived in New Orleans, Louisiana. Valcour gave his occupation as a planter.[3] He was a farmer when he and Feliciana appeared on the census of 1 June 1880 at Belle Place, Iberia Parish, Louisiana.[4]

He died on 7 Feb. 1886, his death was recorded at St. Peter Catholic Church, New Iberia, Iberia Parish, Louisiana, USA, at age 55.[1]
