Oct. 10, 1697; d. Oct. 5, 1762. 36, Damaris; b. May 28, 1699; m. Jan. 17, 1729, Theophilus Mix; bap. 1697; d. at Meriden, Conn., July 3, 1750. By his will Mr. Mix left 10 lbs. to the church in Hamden, Conn. 37, Daniel +. 38, Hannah; b. Jan. 26, 1704; d. Oct. 4, 1762. 39, Jerusha; b. Mar. 28, 1706.

Thomas Olmsted settled in the west division of Hartford, and was one of the first members of the West Hartford Church, which was formed in 1712 as the 2nd church in Hartford."[3]

Will and Death

The will of Thomas Olmsted, of was dated 23 May 1735. He makes bequests to his children: Thomas, Stephen, Daniel, Sarah, Damarus, Rebeckah, Hannah and Jerusha. His wife was not mentioned. The will was proven in court 7 July 1741, and the inventory of L111-09-08 was taken 28 May 1741, which is used as his (before this) death date.[6]

Olmsted-315 and Olmstead-233 appear to represent the same person because: Same names, same exact birth dates and locations, same parents, same siblings (some of which are newly created duplicates as well), same spouses with same exact marriage dates/locations, same child, and same exact death dates.

The spelling variation of "Olmsted" can be added as an other last name, all of the surnames in Olmstead-233's family line are spelled "Olmstead". Please merge. Thanks
