In 1799, at the baptism of Ole, they are living at Kongsrud farm, while from Nov 1800 they are registered at Komperud eje (when Berthe is a godmother).
The census of 1801 for Modum registers Lars Olsen (29) and his wife Berthe Amundsdatter (25) living as 'indsitter' at Komperud farm. Berthe's parents Amund Endresen (66) and Randi Fredricsdatter (66) are living in the same house (#4).[1]
Married on 13 Jul 1799 to Berthe Amundsdatter.[2] Children:
The wedding protocol recording their engagement on 23 Jun 1799, lists Lars Olsen as a widower. The wedding took place at Heggen church in Modum.

The census of 1801 shows Lars Andersen and Anders Jaccobsen as smallhodlers at Komperud #2 and #3, respectively, while Berthe's father holds #4.

17 June 1798 in Modum: Lars Olsen (b. 1761) & Helle Trulsdatter (b. 18 Aug 1774): Excluded; both were living at Hulbach in 1801. They died childless, and a probate for both of them is recorded on 7 Nov 1817.[7]

Ole Knudsen and Marthe Larsdatter Flannum. Marthe is 67 at the time of the census of 1801, living with her son Knud Olsen (30) and his family at Flannum #5, including Berthe Olsdatter. The father of Ole Knudsen could be the Knud Olssen recorded in the probate of 18 Feb 1738, with a son Ole (9).

Modum's historie vol.5 says about Flannum, regarding the place called Østre Tarmen, that in 1803 it was owned by a Knut Olsen, and that it had been inherited since 1727, when Knud Olsens grandfather, also named Knut Olsen, obtained it for his odel-rights to the farm.
Lars Olsen Strand (19) is confirmed 16S.p.Trin 1793. = 27 in 1801.
