Biography
Rasmus Olson was born at Eikeskog in Gjesdal about 1686, and was the son of Ola Nilsson Øvre Maudal and Kari Rasmusdatter Underberge.[1][2]
He married the widow Ingeborg Ljødesdatter at Håheller 2 Jul 1713, and took over Håheller.[1] Their children were:
- Kari Rasmusdatter, christened 24 Jun 1714, married Eilev Eilevson Lyse 24 Jun 1742[1]
- Tore Rasmusson, christened 13 Apr 1716, buried 16 Mar 1785, married Guri Knutsdatter N. Fossmork , lived at L. Vatne in Høyland[1]
- Anna Rasmusdatter, christened 9 Jan 1718, buried 7 Jun 1718 at the age of 20 weeks[1]
- Unknown child, born 1719, died or buried 30 May 1719 aged 14 weeks[1]
- Halvar Rasmusson, christened 24 Jun 1720, buried 17 dec 1791, lived at U-Berge, Jåttå in Hetland[1]
- Anna Rasmusdatter, christened 20 Jun 1723, married Eivin Knutson Songedalen 1 Nov 1751[1]
- Ola Rasmusson, christened in Stavanger 20 Oct 1725, lived at Lyse, married Gunhild Ivarsdatter Lyse 3 Jul 1757[1]
- Eli Rasmusdatter, christened 11 April 1728, buried 12 May 1797 at the age of 70, married Kristoffer Ivarson Lyse 11 Jun 1758[1]
- Rasmus Rasmusson, christened 2 Sep 1731, buried 2 Mar 1800, married Ranveig Gabrielsdatter Aukland 8 Jun 1749, lived at Auklend in Høyland, is ancestor of the Øglænd family in Sandnes[1]
Rasmus died at Håheller in november 1762.[1]
