Biography

Magnus Hjalmar Olsen in Christiania (today Oslo), Norway in census 1865[1]

Magnus Hjalmar Olsen Lund in Christiania in census 1875[2]

Magnus died on the 25 Jun 1926 at the age of seventy. He was laid to rest in the Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette, Wisconsin.[3]

Magnus and Anna Marie immigrated to the US right before their fifth child, my grandfather; Carl Lawrence was born in 1896 . they moved straight away to Marinette, Wisconsin where their was a large Norwegian community, and possibly some relatives. They remained their till their deaths.

I was told he was a railroad worker for a while then they opened a boarding house and that kept him too busy to work at the railroad any longer,
