Biography
Tore Olsen Røsand / Røsandvåg. Origin unknown. His brother, Bjørn Olsen (b. 1693) took over the farm at Røsand.
Tore Olsen Røsand married Barbro Greisdatter Trettvik (1692-1740) in 1727. 3 children are known:
- Greis (b. 1728) Married in 1752 to widow Marit Pedersdatter Sveggen.
- Gunnhild (b. 1732) Married to Tørris Jonsen Hoel.
- Ole (b. 1733)
In 1730 Tore Olsen was fined the usual 9 ort 12 skilling for having too early intercourse with is wife, Barbro.
