You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree - if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.
If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top right, or head over to the G2G forum and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House. You might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.
I am interested in building my own tree and to contribute to wikitree. I hope i can find some family that i know has moved to Canada. I still havent found the names of them, but still tracking.
We were all novices at some point. Where do you interests lie? What do you know already? There is a great Genealogy 101 references list here: http://www.cyndislist.com/beginners/.
WikiTree is a collaborative site for people of all experience levels. Did you volunteer because you want to start adding your family and contribute to our shared tree?
I am glad to hear you are interested in learning more about your family history. Are you planning on contributing to our Wikitree and adding your own research or are you wanting to search and use the forum? You are more than welcome to do so, it is free, and you dont have to become a volunteer.
If you want to contribute as well, please leave us another message and we can then make you a full member. As indicated above, if you just want to use our forums and search around then you can do that as a guest :)
One of our volunteers will be happy to make you a full member if you post again.
