Biography

1846 John Cornelius Olsen was born in Hongset farm, Vik Parish, Helgeland, Nordland, Norway on either 15 Nov 1846 or 6 Sep 1846. He was the son of Ole Olsen and Ingeborg Anne Pettersdatter. [1]

1900 John and his wife Helmine were married in Norway about 1867, had immigrated to the USA in 1868 and were the parents of three living children. In 1900 they resided in Waukechon, Shawano County, Wisconsin, USA.
