Biography
Tolleiv Olson was born on 21 April 1808 in Ål, Hallingdal, Norge, son of Ole Tolleivson (1766–1811) and Haldis Halvorsdatter (1782–1873).
Tolleiv and Birgit Larsdotter Springgarden were married in 1841 in Norway. Birgit was born in 1814. Their children were:
- Ola Tollefson Sel (1841 – 1918)
- Lars Tollefson Sel (1846 – unknown)
- Haldis Tollefsdatter (13 May 1849 – 1895)
- Halvor Tollefson Sel (1854 – 1935)
- Eirik Tollefson Sel (1857 – unknown)
Tolleiv died in 1880, aged 71.
