Hilma Olson Magnusson Cornwell passed away in 1914 in Poplar Grove, Boone, Illinois, United States (one source gives Belvidere, Boone, Illinois, United States). [5]
Hilma's father's name was Ole Peter Tang. Tang was her father's surname name. Sweden had no set surnames until the early 1900's. Her fathers name was Ole Peter Tang. Olson meaning the son of Ole. Old Swedish spelling Oleson. The daughters were called Oles-daughter. Simplified in the 1900's to Olson for all children.
