Alvin was born in 1919. He was the son of Nels Christian Olsson and Elfrida Dahlström.
Married Lillian June Edwards, b. 13 Sep 1921, Douglas, Wyoming, d. 19 Apr 2000, Glenview, Illinois.[1] Two children from this marriage: 1. Nancy Ann Olson, b. 27 Jun 1952, Chicago, IL. Married Dan Hofstadter, b. 19 Dec 1943, Washington DC. Couple had a son, William Emil Olson Hofstadter, b. 6 Aug 1990, Philadelphia, PA. 2. Julie Ann Olson, b. 24 Aug 1955, Evanston, Illinois. Married James Lindsay Barbour, b. 21 Nov 1954. Couple had sons James Lindsay Barbour Jr. , b. 11 Nov 1988, Santa Monica, CA and William Brian Barbour, b. 21 Jun 1990, Bellingham, WA.
