George Henry Arthur Orchard was born on 15 Sep 1914 in Tingha, New South Wales, Australia. ^[1] His parents were Arthur Reuben Orchard (1868-1943) and Elizabeth Hannah Annie (Thorne) Orchard (1869-1960). ^[2]

He married Audrey Merle Maslen on the 5th of June 1939 at Coraki, New South Wales, Australia. ^[3][4]

"On Monday last at St. Mary Mag dalene's, Coraki, the Eev. W. E. Avery celebrated the marriage of Audrey Merle Maslen, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Maslen, of Bora Eidge, and Mr. George Orchard, of Bonalbo. The newly-weds' left by the afternoon train for Sydney, where they will reside." ^[5]

George Henry Arthur died on 27 May 2001 in Lismore, New South Wales aged 85. ^[6]
