William Orcutt baptized his son Benjamin Orcutt on 9 March 1679/80 at Scituate, Plymouth Colony (now Plymouth Co., MA).[1][2]
Benjamin married about 1705 to Elizabeth Randall,[3] the daughter of John and Mercy (Aldrich) Randall. Elizabeth was named as the wife of Benjamin Orcutt in her father's will dated 28 December 1715.[4]
He removed to Weymouth, before 23 May, 1705. He purchased a homestead of his brother Joseph Orcutt in Weymouth, 16 Nov. 1710. He was a tanner and a farmer, and lived near the Great Pond. Andrew Orcutt of Weymouth was appointed administrator of the estate of Benjamin Orcutt late of Weymouth, deceased, 6 May, 1776, with John Nash, cordwainer, and Benoni Hunt, yeoman, both of Weymouth, sureties.[5]
He died in Weymouth in February 1770 at the age of 92.[6]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Benjamin by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Benjamin:
Orcutt-343 and Orcutt-56 appear to represent the same person because: clear duplicate. Issues with different fathers should be resolved by merging Orcutt-473 into Alcocke-22, per discussion in Alcocke-22.
Orcutt-343 and Orcutt-56 are not ready to be merged because: It's not that these aren't the same but the line going up twists on itself somehow and fathers are sons to themselves. It needs to be sorted from the past forward, but a good source needs to be found.
Orcutt-125 and Orcutt-56 appear to represent the same person because: From a project researcher: I was looking at the profile and noticed that there is a Benjamin Orcutt listed as William's son. William (2) Orcutt did not have a son Benjamin - this is the Benjamin that is his brother. There is already an entry for William's brother Benjamin, but it does not have nearly the same level of detail that is contained in the profile of the Benjamin listed as his son.
